Charlie comes from the marketing, banking and the entrepreneurial side. In 1998, he helped start Foxmark Media, growing it into one of the nation’s largest mall advertising companies, operating in over 35 markets. As the company's CEO and largest shareholder, he structured two rounds of private financing before selling the company in 2006 to Australian based EYE Corp, one of the world's leading out-of-home media companies. After a transitional period, Charlie resigned from EYE to form Brock Partnerships, a real estate and investment fund.

Prior to starting Foxmark, he was an independent consultant in the bakery and confectionery industries. He's also held marketing and sales positions with Brock Candy Company and its successor, Brach and Brock Confections. Charlie has commercial banking experience as a loan officer with SunTrust Bank and as an “organizer” and director of CapitalMark Bank and Trust in Chattanooga, where he serves on the Executive Loan and HR Committees.

Charlie is an active member of the Atlanta chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization, a worldwide network of over 7,000 business owners.  He also serves on the advisory board of InnovateHere of Chattanooga.  In addition,  Charlie  serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Club, the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, The Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Allied Arts, Lookout Mountain Golf Club, Haiti Outreach, and as Endowment Chair at Good Shepherd Church.  Charlie has a B.A. from the University of the South, where he is a member of the Board of Trustees and serves as the President for Associated Alumni.

Charlie holds a Series 7 and Series 63 license, and  is also a Series 24 Registered Securities Principal.
