Prior to joining FourBridges, Ben was an Associate with Nashville Capital Network, an early stage venture capital fund organized by Vanderbilt University, Nashville Technology Council, Nashville Healthcare Council and “angel” investors in the Nashville business community. At NCN he managed the screening, due diligence, and financial modeling responsibilities for potential early stage investments. He was also responsible for mentoring entrepreneurs on raising capital, business plan development, and strategic planning. During his time at NCN, Ben reviewed over 130 unique companies across numerous industry verticals.
Ben’s work experience also includes The Link Group, an Atlanta-based research firm focused on data collection and strategic analysis. His primary clients included Hewlett-Packard, Eli Lilly, AT&T, Dial Corporation, and Georgia-Pacific.
Ben has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he graduated #3 in his class with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.

Additionally, NCN has an investor initiative focused on providing deal flow, analysis, and due diligence to active angel investors. As part of the investor initiative, NCN manages a sidecar investment fund. At NCN, Ben managed the screening, due diligence, and financial modeling responsibilities for potential early-stage investments. He also mentored entrepreneurs on raising capital, business plan development and strategic planning. While at NCN, Ben reviewed over 130 unique companies covering industries from healthcare services and software to payments processing and financial services. Ben’s work experience also includes The Link Group, an Atlanta-based research firm focused on data collection and strategic analysis. Ben managed projects for clients including Hewlett-Packard, Eli Lilly, AT&T, Dial Corporation, Pabst, and Georgia-Pacific. Ben has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with concentrations in Finance and Accounting and a specialization in Entrepreneurship. He holds the Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. Ben is an active alumnus of The Baylor School and the University of Virginia. He currently serves on the vetting committee for InnovateHere and the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC). While in Atlanta, Ben coached a few winning teams for the Northside Youth Organization, and he plans to join a team in Chattanooga.
